The Fan is a 1996 American English-language Action Drama motion picture featuring Robert De Niro, Wesley Snipes, John Leguizamo, Benicio Del Toro, Ellen Barkin, Patti D arbanville and Patti Tippo. The movie is based on The Fan by Peter Abrahams. TriStar Pictures in association with Mandalay Entertainment and Scott Free Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Wendy Finerman. The Fan is written by Peter Abrahams and Phoef Sutton and it is directed by Tony Scott. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Fan was released on 16th August 1996 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. The Fan was made on a budget of $55 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Phoef Sutton. Cinematography was done by Dariusz Wolski and editing by Claire Simpson and Christian Wagner. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer.
