Samuel Bronston Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Samuel Bronston. The Fall of the Roman Empire is written by Ben Barzman, Basilio Franchina, Philip Yordan and Edward Gibbon and it is directed by Anthony Mann. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Fall of the Roman Empire was released on 25th March 1964 and takes a screen time of 188 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The Fall of the Roman Empire was made on a budget of $16 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Krasker and editing by Robert Lawrence.
