Nikki, a widow haunted by her husbands death, enters into a secretive relationship with a man named Tom who bears a striking resemblance to her late husband, causing emotional distress to her neighbor who has feelings for her, only for Nikki to eventually discover Toms severe heart ailment and later invite him to Mexico, where she brought him to the place her husband died, leading to Nikki running off into the surf but being saved by Tom and attending a memorial display of Toms art a year later, where she sees a painting he made of them titled The Face of Love. The Face of Love is a 2013 American English-language Drama Mystery motion picture starring Annette Bening, Ed Harris, Robin Williams, Amy Brenneman, Jess Weixler, Linda Park and Jade Phipps. Mockingbird Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn. The Face of Love is written by Arie Posin and Matthew Mcduffie and it is directed by Arie Posin. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
