The story follows an assassin trying to leave his violent past behind and live a peaceful life in Osaka, but his tranquility is threatened when he is forced to stop killing for a year by underworld figures who are aware of his true identity, leading to a constant internal struggle as he resists his lethal skills and fights the temptation to return to a life of violence. THE FABLE is a 2019 Japanese-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Jun ichi Okada, Fumino Kimura, Mizuki Yamamoto, Sôta Fukushi, Yûya Yagira, Osamu Mukai and Yûsuke Sugiyama. THE FABLE was released on 17th November 2021.
