A widowed father in a coastal Irish town becomes involved in a complex love triangle with a famous writer and another writer during a local literary festival, all while navigating his own haunting experiences and exploring themes of loss and the supernatural. Treasure Entertainment in association with Broadcasting Commission of Ireland, Irish Film Board and RT. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert Walpole. The Eclipse is written by Lannie Hill, Conor Mcpherson and Billy Roche and it is directed by Lannie Hill and Conor Mcpherson. Treasure Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Eclipse was released on 15th April 2010 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. Yes, there are four apparitions one too far to be identified, a brief child who looks to have a slight harelip, a deceased wife and her pustule pocked father plus dialogue and books about such phenomena, but the eighty eight minutes could as easily stand without them.
