The Drop

A man named Bob Saginowski rescues an abandoned pit bull pup while tending to a neighborhood bar used as a drop-off point for illegal money, and gets involved in a series of events that include a robbery, a severed arm, a murder, and suspicions from a detective. The Drop is a 2014 American English-language Crime Drama film featuring Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, James Gandolfini, Matthias Schoenaerts, John Ortiz, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Alex Ziwak. The movie is based on Animal Rescue by Dennis Lehane. TSG Entertainment in association with Chernin Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark and Mike Larocca. The Drop is written by Dennis Lehane and directed by Michaël R. Roskam and Micha L R. Roskam. Fox Searchlight Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Drop was released on 16th October 2014 and takes a screen time of 106 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. The Drop was made on a budget of $12 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $18 million. Cinematography was done by Nicolas Karakatsanis and editing by Christopher Tellefsen. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami.
