A U.S. Senators assassination leads FBI agents to call in a retired operative to help identify the murderer, but as they investigate, they discover that the operative himself is the assassin, seeking revenge for the death of his loved ones, leading to a confrontation with a Russian terrorist where the operative sacrifices himself and the investigation ends with the allegiance of one of the FBI agents still uncertain. The Double is a 2011 American English-language Action Crime movie starring Richard Gere, Topher Grace, Stephen Moyer, Odette Yustman, Stana Katic, Chris Marquette and Ron Zill. Hyde Park Entertainment in association with Imagenation Abu Dhabi. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ashok Amritraj. The Double is written by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas and it is directed by Richard Ayoade and Michael Brandt. Image Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Double was released on 28th October 2011 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The Double was made on a budget of $17 million and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. Cinematography was done by Jeffrey L. Kimball and editing by Steve Mirkovich. The music was composed by John Debney.
