During WWII, a group of criminal prisoners transforms into skilled commandos under the training of Major John Reisman and successfully carries out a mission to assassinate German officers in France, facing obstacles from Colonel Breed, but ultimately only Reisman and two others survive and are honored for their sacrifice.
