A man named Chow Ting-fat becomes a bigamist, marrying two women without their knowledge, but his double life starts to unravel when a police inspector becomes suspicious and both wives discover the truth and seek revenge, leading Chow to realize its best for them to live without him. The Diary of a Big Man is a 1988 Cantonese-language Comedy Romance motion picture featuring Chow Yun-fat, Sally Yeh, Joey Wong, Waise Lee, Yun-fat Chow, Joey Wang and Elaine Jin. Cinema City Company in association with Film Workshop. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Tsui Hark. The movie is directed by Chor Yuen. Cinema City Company acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Diary of a Big Man was released on 21st July 1988 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $1941 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Philip Cheng and Ng Man-fai. Cinematography was done by Lee San-ip and Lam Wa-chiu and editing by David Wu. The music was composed by James Wong along with David Wu and Romeo Diaz.
