A defense attorneys career takes a dark turn when he joins a prestigious firm, leading to tensions in his marriage and a series of disturbing events, ultimately leading him to confront corruption and prioritize his wife over his ambition. The Devils Advocate is a 1997 American English-language Drama Mystery motion picture starring Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron, Jeffrey Jones, Judith Ivey, Craig T. Nelson and Victor Warren. The movie is based on The Devil s Advocate by Andrew Neiderman. Regency Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arnon Milchan, Arnold Kopelson and Anne Kopelson. The Devils Advocate is written by Andrew Neiderman, Jonathan Lemkin and Tony Gilroy and it is directed by Taylor Hackford. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Devils Advocate was released on 11th December 1997 and takes a screen time of 144 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Devils Advocate was made on a budget of $57 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $152 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jonathan Lemkin and Tony Gilroy. Cinematography was done by Andrzej Bartkowiak and editing by Mark Warner. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.

The Lawyer Joke, taken to its obvious conclusion and at almost two and a half hours its a hell of a running gag.Devils Advocate is such a bloated, gargantuan, and ultimately tasteless juggernaut of a film that it manages to achieve a righteously cheesy splendor; rarely do we actually encounter such a brazen example of the so bad its good genre of filmmaking.
