A giant praying mantis, previously trapped in ice for millions of years, attacks an Inuit village and makes its way towards America, causing havoc until a team led by Col. Joe Parkman and paleontologist Dr. Nedrick Jackson successfully defeat it, while Joe falls in love with Marge Blaine. The Deadly Mantis is a 1957 American English-language Horror Sci-Fi motion picture starring Craig Stevens, Alix Talton, William Hopper, Donald Randolph, Pat Conway, Florenz Ames and Sumner Williams. Universal-International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) William Alland. The movie is directed by Nathan H. Juran. Universal-International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Deadly Mantis was released on 26th May 1957 and takes a screen time of 78-79 minutes.
