A group of patriotic fighters in ancient China recruit a mysterious stranger with seemingly superhuman abilities to help them rescue a prince imprisoned by Ching invaders in an impenetrable fortress guarded by elite men. The deadly duo is a 1971 English-language motion picture featuring David Chiang, Ti Lung, Ku Feng, Wong Chung, Cheng Lui, Chan Sing and Wong Kwong-yue. Shaw Brothers Studio was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Run Run Shaw. The deadly duo is written by Ni Kuang and directed by Chang Cheh. Shaw Brothers Studio acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The deadly duo was released on 23rd December 1971 and takes a screen time of 77 minutes. Cinematography was done by Kung Mu-to and editing by Kwok Ting-hung. The music was composed by Frankie Chan.
