    • Roger Ebert

This is without a doubt the dumbest, most inept, most maddeningly unsatisfactory thriller of the last five years. Its really bad: so bad, indeed, that it provides some sort of measuring tool against which to measure other bad thrillers. ( Read More )
    • Felix Vasquez Jr.

Its an odd hybrid of genres with a monster thats never quite extrapolated until the end. ( Read More )
    • But the solemnity doesnt really jibe with the need to provide fresh victims every so often (despite Minas waning appetite), just so the film has enough violent content to remain more or less in horror territory. ( Read More )
    • Hold the Dark isnt an easy watch if the dourness doesnt get you, the violence will but its gripping. ( Read More )
    • Even getting pulled over for speeding doesnt dampen the mood for long. ( Read More )
