Bazelevs Company in association with Film Rites and Thunder Road Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Basil Iwanyk, Harvey Weinstein and Timur Bekmambetov. The Current War is written by Michael Mitnick and directed by Alfonso Gomez-rejon. 101 Studios acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Current War was released on 17th October 2019 and takes a screen time of 107 minutes. The Current War was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Chung Chung-hoon and editing by David Trachtenberg and Justin Krohn. The music was composed by Saunder Jurriaans along with Volker Bertelmann and Dustin O halloran.
