A Master Sergeant and a former Taliban member join forces to survive in war-torn Afghanistan, ultimately escaping and finding a way to bring the latter and his family to safety in the United States, after facing numerous challenges and dangers along the way, including the discovery of the Talibans targeting of Afghan interpreters. The Covenant was Produced by Guy Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, John Friedberg and Josh Berger. The Covenant is written by Guy Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies and it is directed by Guy Ritchie. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Covenant was released on 20th July 2023 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. The Covenant was made on a budget of $55 million and at the box office it grossed only $37 million. Cinematography was done by Ed Wild and editing by James Herbert. The music was composed by Christopher Benstead.
