The Core

Scientists discover that the Earths core has stopped rotating, prompting a secret U.S. government-funded mission to build a vessel and release nuclear weapons to restart its motion, while encountering numerous challenges and uncovering a dangerous project, leading to a plan involving explosives and eventual success with the help of sacrifices and ingenious thinking, resulting in their rescue and heroic recognition. David Foster Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David Foster, Cooper Layne and Sean Bailey. The Core is written by Cooper Layne and John Rogers and it is directed by Jon Amiel. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Core was released on 17th March 2022 and takes a screen time of 135 minutes. The Core was made on a budget of $60 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $73 million. Cinematography was done by John Lindley and editing by Terry Rawlings. The music was composed by Christopher Young.
