A police officer becomes embroiled in a dangerous drug syndicate and faces personal and professional challenges as he tries to stop their illegal activities, blurring the line between good and evil. The City is a 1994 Indian Telugu-language Action film featuring Suresh Gopi, Urvashi, Lalu Alex, Ratheesh and Ahana. Seven Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) G. P Vijayakumar. The City is written by Priyadarshan Nair and directed by I.v. Sasi. Seven Arts Release acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The City was released on 16th March 1994. The City was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by T. Damodaran. Editing was done by K. Narayanan. The music was composed by Johnson along with S. P. Venkatesh.
