A group of diverse high school students are forced to spend the day in detention together, where they clash, reveal their secrets, form connections, and ultimately leave with a changed perspective on each other. The Breakfast Club is a 1985 American English-language Comedy Drama movie starring Emilio Estevez, Paul Gleason, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy and Mike Burnham. A&M Films in association with Channel Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Hughes and Ned Tanen. The film is written and directed by John Hughes. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Breakfast Club was released on 3rd May 1986 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. The Breakfast Club was made on a budget of $1 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $2 million. Cinematography was done by Thomas Del Ruth and editing by Dede Allen. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Keith Forsey along with Gary Chang.
