Gary and Brooke have a turbulent relationship, break up but continue living together as roommates, and despite failed attempts to reconcile, they eventually move out and focus on their separate lives before unexpectedly encountering each other again. Wild West Picture Show Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vince Vaughn and Scott Stuber. The movie is directed by Peyton Reed. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Break-Up was released on 17th August 2006 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
