The Bone Snatcher

In a South African mine, workers disappear and a search team led by Dr. Zack Straker discovers a murderous swarm of ant-like insects that wrap around victims bones, leading to a game of cat and mouse in the desert and ultimately killing the yellow queen brain, but unknowingly acquiring another queen brain before escaping from a collapsed mine structure. The Bone Snatcher is a 2003 English-language Horror Sci-Fi motion picture featuring Scott Bairstow, Rachel Shelley, Adrienne Pearce, Warrick Grier, Patrick Shai, Andre Weideman and Rob Van Vuuren. The Imaginarium in association with Focus Films and Persistence Pictures Inc. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Izidore Codron, Koa Padolsky, Chris Roland and Malcolm Kohll. The Bone Snatcher is written by Malcolm Kohll and Gordon Render and it is directed by Jason Wulfsohn. Overseas FilmGroup acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Bone Snatcher was released on 18th February 2004 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. The Bone Snatcher was made on a budget of $6 million. Cinematography was done by Andreas Poulsson and editing by Richard Benwick. The music was composed by Paul Heard along with Mike Pickering.
