An aging actor named Riggan Thomson attempts to revive his career by writing, directing, and starring in a Broadway play, but faces various obstacles and personal struggles along the way, eventually finding redemption through the plays success and embracing a new chapter in his life. Birdman is written by Alejandro González Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo, Raymond Carver, Alejandro G I Rritu, Nicol S Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris Jr. and Armando B and it is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and Alejandro G I Rritu. Fox Searchlight Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Birdman was released on 15th January 2015 and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Birdman was made on a budget of $18 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $103 million. Cinematography was done by Emmanuel Lubezki and editing by Douglas Crise and Stephen Mirrione.
