Three adult nerds form a baseball team called the Benchwarmers, win a tournament against bullies and professional players, and celebrate personal victories. Columbia Pictures in association with Revolution Studios and Happy Madison. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo. The Benchwarmers is written by Allen Covert and Nick Swardson and it is directed by Dennis Dugan. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Benchwarmers was released on 1st June 2006 and takes a screen time of 85 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. The Benchwarmers was made on a budget of $33 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $64 million. Cinematography was done by Thomas Ackerman and editing by Peck Prior and Sandy Solowitz.
