    • Jeffrey M. Anderson

While this tale could easily have tumbled over the edge in any direction, writer/director Kurt Voelker presents it as a balanced, nuanced, and gentle family story that becomes genuinely touching. ( Read More )
    • Simran Hans

Nestled inside this conventionally packaged comedy drama is an affecting, jagged take on grief, depression and self sabotage. ( Read More )
    • Justin Lowe

Treating the issues of grief and recovery with touching restraint, the pic ably demonstrates the healing effects of love and compassion, making it a fine fit for a discerning distributor. ( Read More )
    • Brian Orndorf

However, the screenplay is serious about grief and familial relationships, with Voelker creating characters in dire need of human contact, hit with painful loss, which has knocked their instinct out of whack. ( Read More )
    • Harvey S. Karten

This is an emotional story, a two or three hanky tale that could easily find a place on TV but fits just fine as a conventional drama of healing. ( Read More )
