The Adventures of Baron Munchausen is written by Charles Mckeown, Terry Gilliam, Gottfried August Bürger and Rudolph Erich Raspe and it is directed by Terry Gilliam. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen was released on 10th March 1989 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen was made on a budget of $46 million and at the box office it grossed only $8 million. Cinematography was done by Giuseppe Rotunno and editing by Peter Hollywood. The music was composed by Michael Kamen.
