In a world where human cloning is prohibited but animal cloning is widespread, a pilot named Adam Gibson discovers a clone of himself has taken his place and embarks on a mission to confront the powerful billionaire behind the clandestine human cloning operation in order to save his family and destroy the cloning facility, eventually settling in Argentina while his clone continues their business. The 6th Day is written by Cormac Wibberley, Marianne Wibberley and Cormac Wibberley & Marianne Wibberley and it is directed by Roger Spottiswoode. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The 6th Day was released on 22nd December 2000 and takes a screen time of 124 minutes.
