A group of miners in Copiapó, Chile, become trapped in a collapsed mine, and after being ignored by the mine company, they are eventually rescued by the Chilean government in a complex operation. The 33 is a 2015 English-language Biography Drama movie featuring Antonio Banderas, Rodrigo Santoro, Juliette Binoche, James Brolin, Bob Gunton, Gabriel Byrne and Monserrat Álvarez. The movie is inspired from Deep Down Dark by H ctor Tobar. The 33 was Produced by Mike Medavoy, Robert Katz and Edward Mcgurn. The 33 is written by Mikko Alanne, Craig Borten, Michael Thomas, Jose Rivera and Hector Tobar and it is directed by Patricia Riggen. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The 33 was released on 19th November 2015 and takes a screen time of 127 minutes. The 33 was made on a budget of $26 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $27 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Mikko Alanne, Craig Borten and Michael Thomas. Cinematography was done by Checco Varese and editing by Michael Tronick. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner James Horner.
