Tevar

A young Kabaddi player named Ghanshyam, or Pintoo, rescues a woman named Radhika from a dangerous faction leader named Gajendar Singh, falls in love with her, and eventually defeats Gajendar and reunites with Radhika. Tevar is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama movie featuring Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Manoj Bajpayee, Deepti Naval, Raj Babbar, Shruti Haasan and Durg Singh Thakur. The movie is based on Okkadu by Gunasekhar. Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment Pvt.Ltd was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Baban Jangid Nimbla, Sanjay Kapoor, Sunil Lulla, Naresh Agarwal and Sunil Manchanda. Tevar is written by Gunasekhar, Shantanu Srivastava and Shantanu Shrivastav and it is directed by Amit Sharma and Amit Ravindernath Sharma. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Tevar was released on 9th January 2015 and takes a screen time of 159 minutes. Tevar was made on a budget of ₹54 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹35 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Shantanu Shrivastav and Amit Ravindernath Sharma. Cinematography was done by Laxman Utekar and editing by Dev Rao Jadhav. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Wajid Ali along with Sajid Wajid, Imran Khan and Clinton Cerejo.
