Carolco Pictures in association with Pacific Western Productions, Lightstorm Entertainment and Le Studio Canal+ S.A. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) James Cameron. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is written by James Cameron and William Wisher and it is directed by James Cameron. Tri-Star Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Terminator 2: Judgment Day was released on 3rd July 1991 and takes a screen time of 137 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Terminator 2: Judgment Day was made on a budget of $102 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $520 million. Cinematography was done by Adam Greenberg and editing by Conrad Buff, Mark Goldblatt and Richard A. Harris. The music was composed by Brad Fiedel. At the 1992 Oscar Awards It won 4 awards including: Best Sound, Best Effects, Sound Effects Editing, Best Effects, Visual Effects and Best Makeup.
