A talented poet and scholar named Ramakrishna settles in Hampi with his family, and after facing challenges and earning the respect of the court members, he uncovers plots and saves the kingdom from attacks, ultimately gaining the invitation to return to the court and preventing further bloodshed. Tenali Ramakrishna is a 1956 Indian Telugu-language Comedy Drama film featuring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, N. T. Rama Rao, V. Nagayya, Bhanumathi Ramakrishna, Rajkumar, Balkrishna and Ramakoti. The movie is inspired from Tenali Ramakrishna by Ch. Venkataramaiah. Vikram Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) B. S. Ranga. Tenali Ramakrishna is written by Venkataramaiah C.k., Sadasivabrahmam Vempati, Samudrala Sr., Kannadasan and Murugadasa and it is directed by Ranga B.s. and B. S. Ranga. Tenali Ramakrishna was released on 12th January 1956 and takes a screen time of 169 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by B. S. Ranga. Cinematography was done by B. S. Ranga and B. N. Haridas and editing by P. G. Mohan. The music was composed by Viswanathan Ramamoorthy.
