A reporter investigates a crime wave by the Foot Clan and discovers that the vigilante fighters are mutant turtles who battle against a man planning to release a deadly virus and discover a link to her fathers experiment. Nickelodeon Movies in association with Platinum Dunes, Gama Entertainment, Mednick Productions and Heavy Metal. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Galen Walker and Scott Mednick. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is written by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Peter Laird, Kevin Eastman and Andr Nemec and it is directed by Dave Green. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows was released on 2nd June 2016 and takes a screen time of 112 minutes.
