A math professor tests his theory about probability in a game of Teen Patti and becomes embroiled in the world of underground gambling with corrupted students. Teen Patti was Produced by Ambika A. Hinduja. Teen Patti is written by Shivkumar Subramaniam, Leena Yadav and Ben Rekhi and it is directed by Leena Yadav. Serendipity Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Teen Patti was released on 26th February 2010 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. Teen Patti was made on a budget of ₹18 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Leena Yadav and Shiv Kumar Subramaniam. Cinematography was done by Aseem Bajaj and editing by Hughes Winborne and Kaushik Das. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Salim Merchant along with Sulaiman Merchant and Salim Sulaiman.
