A British couple and their baby son are shipwrecked in Africa, where the baby is adopted by a gorilla and grows up as Tarzan, befriending animals and falling in love with a woman named Jane despite warnings from his gorilla family, eventually becoming the new leader of the gorillas. Tarzan is a 1999 American Hindi-language Animation Adventure motion picture featuring Tony Goldwyn, Minnie Driver, Glenn Close, Alex D. Linz, Rosie O donnell, Brian Blessed and Phil Collins. The movie is based on Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan was Produced by Bonnie Arnold. The movie is directed by Kevin Lima and Chris Buck. Buena Vista Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Tarzan was released on 17th June 1999 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Tarzan was made on a budget of $130 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $448 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tab Murphy, Bob Tzudiker and Noni White. Editing was done by Gregory Perler. The music was composed by Mark Mancina. At the 2000 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Music, Original Song.
