Tarzan

An expedition to harness unique energy from a meteor fails, a newborn gorilla loses its father, a helicopter carrying an industrialist and his family crashes, their son is adopted by gorillas and grows up in the jungle as Tarzan, who falls in love with Jane and defeats the CEO of Greystoke Energies and his mercenaries at the meteor site to prevent another extinction event. Tarzan is a 2013 English-language Animation Adventure motion picture starring Kellan Lutz, Spencer Locke, Joe Cappelletti, Mark Deklin, Jaime Ray Newman, Anton Zetterholm and Chris Fries. The movie is based on Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Ambient Entertainment GmbH was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Reinhard Klooss and Robert Kulzer. Tarzan is written by Yoni Brenner, Reinhard Klooss, Jessica Postigo and Edgar Rice Burroughs and it is directed by Reinhard Klooss. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Tarzan was released on 13th March 2014 and takes a screen time of 94 minutes. Tarzan was made on a budget of $130 million and at the box office it grossed only $44 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Reinhard Klooss, Jessica Postigo and Yoni Brenner. Cinematography was done by Marcus Eckert and editing by Alexander Dittner. The music was composed by David Newman.
