Mukta Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Subhash Ghai. Taal is written by Sachin Bhowmick, Subhash Ghai and Javed Siddiqui and it is directed by Subhash Ghai. Mukta Arts acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Taal was released on 13th August 1999 and takes a screen time of 181 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Taal was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹21 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sachin Bhowmick and Subhash Ghai.
