Two student groups at a Hyderabad college set aside their differences to win the land of their college back from a local mafia leader through rugby union games. Sye is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Genelia D souza, Pradeep Rawat, Nithiin Kumar Reddy, Genelia D Souza, Shashank Shekhar, Rajeev Kanakala and Pingpong Surya. Sri Bharathi Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) A. Bharati. Sye is written by Vijayendra Prasad, S.s. Rajamouli and M. Rathnam and it is directed by S.s. Rajamouli and S. S. Rajamouli. Sri Bharathi Enterprises acquired the distribution rights for the film. Sye was released on 1st January 2004 and takes a screen time of 163 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sye was made on a budget of ₹8 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹12 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by S. S. Rajamouli. Cinematography was done by K. K. Senthil Kumar and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The music was composed by M. M. Keeravani.
