A teenager named Sydney White starts college, befriends a girl from a sorority, becomes a target of the student council president due to her popularity, finds support in a group called the seven dorks, and ultimately wins the student body president election, leaving the mean girl stripped of her privileges. Sydney White is a 2007 American English-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Amanda Bynes, Sara Paxton, Matt Long, Jack Carpenter, Jeremy Howard, John Schneider and Prince Cruickshank. The movie is inspired from Snow White by the Brothers Grimm. Morgan Creek was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) James G. Robinson, David C. Robinson and Clifford Werber. Sydney White is written by Chad Gomez Creasey and directed by Joe Nussbaum. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Sydney White was released on 21st September 2007 and takes a screen time of 108 minutes. Sydney White was made on a budget of $16 million and at the box office it grossed only $13 million. Cinematography was done by Mark Irwin and editing by Danny Saphire. The music was composed by Deborah Lurie.
