A beautiful lonely girl named Melissa tries to make new friends from a town she s currently living in. The only problem is, each of the boys that she spends time with end up brutally murdered. Her sixteenth birthday is on the way, but Melissa turns out to be a suspect when it ms she s the last person who has n her boyfriends alive. Written by Kelly Nicklay Sweet Sixteen is a 1983 American English-language Horror Thriller film starring Bo Hopkins, Susan Strasberg, Don Stroud, Dana Kimmell, Aleisa Shirley, Glenn Withrow and Art Roberts. Sweet Sixteen Productions in association with Productions Two. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jim Sotos. Sweet Sixteen is written by Erwin Goldman and directed by Jim Sotos. Century International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Sweet Sixteen was released on 18th March 1983 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $22 million. Cinematography was done by James L. Carter and editing by Drake Silliman. The music was composed by Ray Ellis along with Tommy Vig.
