An ex-military S.W.A.T. officer is asked to train the Detroit S.W.A.T. team, faces challenges during a hostage situation, wins a bet, recruits assistance from a former squadmate, saves hostages and defeats the antagonist, ultimately deciding to leave Detroit with his love interest. S.W.A.T.: Firefight is a 2011 American English-language Action Crime movie featuring Gabriel Macht, Robert Patrick, Carly Pope, Giancarlo Esposito, Kristanna Loken, Matt Bushell and Danielle Carter. Original Film in association with Stage 6 Films and RCR Media Group. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Neal H. Moritz and Amanda Lewis. S.W.A.T.: Firefight is written by Reed Steiner, Randy Walker, Michael Albanese and Ed Arneson and it is directed by Benny Boom. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. S.W.A.T.: Firefight was released on 1st March 2011 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Reed Steiner. Cinematography was done by Don Davis and editing by David Checel. The music was composed by John Paesano.
