A wealthy businessman is betrayed by his brothers and a shady businessman, but his loyal servant becomes a wealthy film star and returns to help him regain his fortune and family. The movie is based on Jog Biyog by Ashapurna Devi. Swarg was Produced by Nandu G. Tolani and Nandu G Tolani. Swarg is written by Anees Bazmee, Nandu G. Tolani and Ashapurna Devi and it is directed by David Dhawan. Paras Films International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Swarg was released on 2nd May 1990. The Film was successful at box office. Swarg was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹14 crore. Editing was done by David Dhawan.
