Suriyan

Chettiyar amma helps and takes care of a man, Mottai, who is actually Suriyan, an IPS officer hiding his true identity and working as a driver for Usha; after facing mistreatment from Usha and revealing his past, Suriyan falls in love with her, uncovers an assassination plot, gets arrested, escapes, kills the culprit, and is ultimately commended by the Prime Minister. Suriyan is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language Action Drama motion picture starring Babu Antony, Rajan P. Dev, Goundamani, Sarath Kumar, Aachi Manorama, Omakuchi Narasimhan and Aiyappa Mandapanda. A. R. S. Film International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. T. Kunjumon. The motion picture is written and directed by Pavithran. A. R. S Film International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Suriyan was released on 14th August 1992. The Film was successful at box office. Suriyan was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹8 crore. Cinematography was done by Ashok Kumar and editing by B. Lenin and V. T. Vijayan. The music was composed by Deva.
