A famous surfers life takes a difficult turn when his contract is bought by a businessman who wants him to record moves for a virtual reality game, while also dealing with financial struggles and complicated relationships. Surfer, Dude is a 2008 American English-language Comedy motion picture starring Matthew Mcconaughey, Alexie Gilmore, Scott Glenn, Jeffrey Nordling, Willie Nelson, Woody Harrelson and Scott Hettermann. Playtone was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gus Gustawes, Mark Gustawes and Matthew Mcconaughey. Surfer, Dude is written by Mark Gustawes, George Mays, S.r. Bindler and Cory Van Dyke and it is directed by S.r. Bindler. Anchor Bay Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The motion picture has a running time of 85 minutes. Surfer, Dude was made on a budget of $6 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
