When LexCorps accidentally unleash a murderous creature, Doomsday, Superman meets his greatest challenge as a champion. Based on the The Death of Superman storyline that appeared in DC Comics publications in the 1990s. Superman/Doomsday is a 2007 American English-language Animation Action motion picture featuring Adam Baldwin, Anne Heche, James Marsters, John Dimaggio, Tom Kenny, Swoosie Kurtz and Kevin Smith. The movie is inspired from The Death of Superman by Dan Jurgens Louise Simonson Roger Stern. Warner Premiere in association with DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bruce Timm. The movie is directed by Bruce Timm, Lauren Montgomery and Brandon Vietti. Warner Home Video acquired the distribution rights for the film. Superman/Doomsday was released on 18th September 2007 and takes a screen time of 77 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Duane Capizzi. The music was composed by Robert Kral.

The fight doesnt have a decent buildup so theres no sense of struggle or accomplishment that Superman stopped Doomsday and the co titular character doesnt appear after the 30 minute mark. ( Read More )
