Sunghursh

A devoted priest murders travelers as sacrifices for the goddess Kali, while his son disagrees and leaves the village, leading to a chain of events including mysterious killings, family feuds, forbidden love, and obstacles in reconciling with enemies. Sunghursh is a 1968 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime motion picture featuring Dilip Kumar, Balraj Sahni, Sanjeev Kumar, Vyjayanthimala Bali, Jayant Khan, Sudesh Sunder and Ranu. Rahul Theatre was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Harnam Singh Rawail. Sunghursh is written by Abrar Alvi, Mahasweta Devi, Gulzar Kalra and Anjana Rawail and it is directed by Harnam Singh Rawail. Shemaroo Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Sunghursh was released on 26th July 1968 and takes a screen time of 158 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anjana Rawail and Dialogue: Gulzar and Abrar Alvi. Cinematography was done by R. D. Mathur and editing by Krushna Sachdev. The music was composed by Naushad.
