An officer named Ashok is assigned by the CBCID department of India to capture a dangerous terrorist named Sultan who disguises himself, and after a series of attacks and conflicts, including the revelation that Sultan and Prithvi are twins, Sultan reforms and sacrifices his life to protect the country. Sultan is a 1999 Indian Telugu-language Family Action movie featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Krishnam Raju, Deepti Bhatnagar, Annapurna, Nandamuri Bala Krishna, Rachana Banerjee and Sudha. P. B. R. Art Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nandamuri Balakrishna and M. R. V. Prasad. The movie is directed by Sarath. Sultan was released on 27th May 1999 and takes a screen time of 143 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sultan was made on a budget of ₹145 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹300 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Paruchuri Brothers. Cinematography was done by K. Ravindra Babu and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The music was composed by Koti.
