The story depicts Sharbonis escape from an abusive marriage, her love with Sayan, Vinods relentless pursuit, and the tragic aftermath of her father arranging a marriage for her, causing Sayan to leave feeling inadequate. Sudhu Tomaree Pratiksha is a 2018 American Bengali-language Drama movie featuring Paul Rudd, Mark Strong, Sienna Miller, Jeff Daniels, Tom Wilkinson, Giancarlo Giannini and Himadri Das. The movie is inspired from The Catcher Was a Spy by Nicholas Dawidoff. Animus Films in association with PalmStar Media, Serena Films and Windy Hill Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kevin Scott Frakes, Tatiana Kelly, Buddy Patrick and Jim Young. The movie is directed by Ben Lewin. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Sudhu Tomaree Pratiksha was released on 1st June 2018 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes.
