Shubho Mahurat is a murder mystery film where IPS officer Arindam investigates the murder of retired actress Kakoli with the help of journalist Mallika Sen and discovers interconnected relationships between characters leading to the revelation of the NRI Producers hidden grudge against Kakoli.
