Two friends, Harry and Skip, lose their jobs and embark on a journey to California, where they are wrongly arrested and convicted for a bank robbery, but eventually escape from prison with the help of their fellow inmates, uncovering a corrupt rodeo operation run by the wardens, and decide to pursue their dreams in Hollywood.
