A passionate street dancer named Andie struggles to balance pursuing her dreams with academic responsibilities, ultimately forming a new dance crew and finding acceptance at Maryland School of the Arts. Step Up 2: The Streets is a 2008 American English-language Drama Romance movie starring Briana Evigan, Robert Hoffman, Will Kemp, Cassie Ventura, Adam Sevani, Danielle Polanco and Spencer Kayden. The movie is based on Characters by Duane Adler. Touchstone Pictures in association with Summit Entertainment and Offspring Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Patrick Wachsberger, Erik Feig, Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot. Step Up 2: The Streets is written by Toni Ann Johnson and Karen Barna and it is directed by Jon M. Chu. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Step Up 2: The Streets was released on 13th March 2008 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Step Up 2: The Streets was made on a budget of $17 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $150 million. Cinematography was done by Max Malkin and editing by Andrew Marcus and Nicholas Erasmus. The music was composed by Aaron Zigman.
