In a battle against Arachnids on a distant planet, General Jack Shepherd and his soldiers make a last stand, and the few survivors seek refuge in an old hotel, facing communication challenges and waiting for rescue, only to discover a new breed of Arachnid that infects humans and a plan to wipe out humanity, leading to a confrontation where Captain V.
