Srigandha

A young couple must overcome disapproval from their families, who hold traditional beliefs, as they strive to marry each other, facing emotional challenges and seeking guidance from elders to bring their families together. Srigandha is a 1995 Indian Kannada-language Drama movie starring Mohanlal, Prabhu Ganesan, Tabu, Vineeth, Amrish Puri, John Kolvenbach and Ramesh Aravind. Pranavam Arts in association with Shogun Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mohanlal and R. Mohan. The movie is directed by Priyadarshan. Pranamam Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Srigandha was released on 1st January 1995 and takes a screen time of 178 minutes. Srigandha was made on a budget of ₹2 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by T. Damodaran and Priyadarshan. Cinematography was done by Santosh Sivan and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Hamsalekha along with Ilaiyaraaja.
